You will need to follow the below steps to enable text (T9) input from the time clock keypad.

  1. Save the attached "emfw.cfg" file to a "USB memory stick"
  2. Insert "USB memory stick" in left side of unit (behind rubber flap)
  3. Press the time clock "Menu" key and scan finger
  4. Arrow over to "System" and press OK key
  5. Arrow over to "USB Upgrade" and press OK key
  6. Press OK key to finish
